Phase III CKB study collaboration agreement signed between Oxford and Peking University

A new collaboration agreement has been signed between Oxford and Peking Universities, covering the future work of the China Kadoorie Biobank.  It follows earlier study agreements between Oxford and the Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (Phase I) and the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS) (Phase II).  The agreement between Oxford University and Peking University follows receipt of approval for the continuation of the study from the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China.  This international cooperation approval has been granted in accordance with the 2019 Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Administration of Human Genetic Resources. The collaboration agreement covers all aspects of the study including field work, long-term follow up, data curation and sharing, research management, finances, capacity building and study governance. CAMS will remain a key partner in operational aspects of the study.
