Clinical Research Fellow

Ian joined Oxford Population Health in 2015 and works as a Clinical Research Fellow within the China Kadoorie Biobank (CKB). The focus of Iain’s research centres around the development of techniques for standardising Chinese health insurance data and procedures for disease classification and adjudication, particularly for stroke and ischaemic heart disease  

Iain studied Medicine at University of Cambridge, graduating in 2003. He worked in General Medicine in the NHS and in New Zealand and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2007Iain then completed training in General Practice in 2009 and worked in a busy practice in Swindon for several years.   

He continues to work part-time in General Practice.
