DPhil Student

Lianhan joined the Clinical Trial Service Unit and Epidemiological Studies Unit (CTSU) in October 2021 to study for a DPhil in Population Health. Working in the China Kadoorie Biobank (CKB) group, Lianhan’s DPhil project investigates the burden and risk factors of infectious complications among individuals with diabetes in China Kadoorie Biobank and UK Biobank. 

Prior to his DPhil, Lianhan obtained Bachelor of Medicine and Doctor of Medicine degrees in China. He completed clinical residency training and worked on clinical research in respiratory medicine, with a particular focus on respiratory infectious diseases, such as community acquired pneumonia and COVID-19.
